Everybody has a story.....
The Blue Moon opened in April of 2001, but began in the heart of a person many years previous who longed to open a business in a downtown area with a vibrant community. Not just any business, but a small restaurant. When the building came up for sale, it was snatched up to do just that. What started out a very simple Bagel Shop, in six months became very complicated! Then it was soup, salads and tortillas. Everything homemade and only the freshest would do . Then wine and beer were added and finally entertainment and wireless access. Never having any experience in the food industry was a real wake up call as to the dedication of individuals who own such a business. Through trial and error and listening to our customers the Blue Moon is about as eclectic as it comes. It has weathered competition and the fickle nature of the business. We are proud to say we are soon starting our 8th year!
